A HAZOP team spends most of its week waiting for someone to explain what a guideword means or why the safeguard they named was not credited. This course prepares team members to arrive knowing the method, the vocabulary and what the leader needs from them, and prepares scribes to record causes, consequences and safeguards in a form the study can actually use. Half the day is spent recording real nodes from participants' own units.
